Meaning one of the dead CA handles in the rear was the culprit. Two solutions to fix the drain in my instance: 1) Troubleshoot further and find out if it's the left or right handle by leaving only the left or the right side connected over night. End result, either way, would be replacing both handles.

The car starts up works for about 10 mins gets up to 180F after this the fan starts to blow very loud after this yellow warning then follows the red warning in about 25 seconds.

scratch that, alternator was bad, just not bad enough to throw a code. Only charging at 12.7-12.8, should've been 13.5-14.0. Nearly killed the battery (was down around 12.0v when alt. was bad and measured from batt terminals,) maybe my experience chasing gremlins will help someone else. edit for clarity
